She’s written over 100 plays, most with the recurring mission of reinventing underdog stories—both fictional and historical—with a special focus on women.

From 2006-2010, Liza founded and managed a children’s theater company that specialized in educational and uplifting plays for kids in hospitals. The company was in residence for two years at Bellevue Pediatric Hospital and toured all the major hospitals throughout New York City, receiving much publicity and acclaim.

In 2016, as a means of helping her chronically ill dog, Liza began taking Reiki classes, eventually earning her Master Teacher certification. Through practicing Reiki, Liza helps other to discover the power of self-healing by unraveling the imprints of the stories we carry within us.
