2024 Reflections: A Year of Progress and Gratitude

As we look back on 2024, we are profoundly grateful for the extraordinary individuals who make up the Quorum community. From our inspiring members to our dedicated corporate sponsors and visionary partners, you have been instrumental in advancing positive change for women.

As a special end-of-year gift, we’re excited to share an inspiring article: “HOW We Ensure Our Voices Are Heard”, based on one of the remarkable panels from this year’s HOW Forum.

This powerful discussion, featuring Regina Jiron, Carlinde Kallianiotis, and Patricia Roberts, underscored that despite ongoing systemic barriers, women possess the resilience and determination to drive meaningful change—both personally and collectively. By celebrating achievements, advocating for transparency, and embracing authenticity, women can amplify their voices and inspire others. As Patricia so eloquently stated, “Shine unapologetically; the world is waiting.”

Together, we can create a future where women’s voices are not only heard but valued as vital to leadership and progress. Thank you for being part of this journey.

Wishing you a new year filled with impact, inspiration, and fulfillment!

HOW We Ensure Our Voices are Heard

“Women must embrace their accomplishments, advocate for themselves, and lift others along the way.”

In a powerful evening of dialogue and empowerment, women leaders gathered for an impactful dinner panel discussion, HOW We Ensure Our Voices Are Heard. Despite progress in women’s representation in leadership roles, challenges remain. The conversation explored persistent barriers, systemic biases, and actionable solutions to amplify women’s voices in professional and personal spaces.

The Reality of the Challenge

Recent reports underscore the systemic challenges women still face. The World Bank Group Global Gender Report (March 2024) highlights that women have access to only 64% of the legal rights available to men, demonstrating how legal constraints continue to limit social and economic empowerment. Additionally, the 2024 Women in the Workplace Report by McKinsey & Company reveals that women disproportionately experience microaggressions and unconscious biases that question their competence and authority. Societal expectations often place caregiving responsibilities on women, reinforcing workplace inequalities and perceptions of work-life balance as a “women’s issue.” These barriers, coupled with imposter syndrome, lack of sponsorship, and systemic bias, create a complex environment where women’s voices are often undervalued.

Turning Challenges into Action

Throughout the evening, panelists Patricia Roberts, Chief Operating Officer, Gift of College; Carlinde Kallianiotis, CEO of Ginger US, Ginger Leadership Communications; and Regina Jiron, Founder, RXB Transformations; Fractional Chief Operating Officer, Fractionals United shared practical strategies and inspiring calls to action to help women overcome these barriers and make their voices heard. The resounding message was clear: women must embrace their accomplishments, advocate for themselves, and lift others along the way.

Upcoming Program: Mentoring Circles

Quorum is excited to introduce Mentoring Circles, a new initiative designed to provide women with increased support and development opportunities. This program will feature monthly, 90-minute virtual sessions facilitated by Executive Coaches, creating a safe and confidential environment for senior leaders to connect, share experiences, and grow professionally.

The program will launch in early 2025 as a pilot for Quorum members in London, starting with small groups of 6-8 participants. We plan to expand the program to include members in the U.S. by mid-2025, offering this initiative to the broader Quorum community.
