St. Joseph Chapter Sponsors Madam President Camp

The second St. Joseph Madam President Camp sponsored by the St. Joseph Chapter of Quorum Initiative was held this summer at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph Missouri. Thirty-two young women ages 11 – 13 attended the camp. Five amazing women facilitated the camp to teach the girls about leadership, civic engagement, activism, communication and self-discovery.

Through a series of discussion, guest speakers, and group interactions, these young women learned how to engage in their communities and speak up regarding issues that are important to them. Along the way, they found their voices.

Many of you may remember Lynne Murphy Rivera and Karen Greenbaum presenting at our signature event last November!

AESC conducts an anonymous leadership survey every year, and we’re eager to share it with our membership. Please consider taking 10 minutes to complete the survey and ensure the voices of women leaders are heard! We will make the report available to our members when it is released.
